Second leaked Sony NEX-6 photo appears online

Image shows front view of NEX-6, offers few clues

Another image of the Sony NEX-6 has leaked online. Photography workshop director Vincent Kang put the images on Weibo.com, with the mirrorless camera posed next to three lenses, one being 24mm, another 50mm. Although the top section including the dedicated function key near the shutter has been seen before, the photograph gives a better view of the camera's final front-facing appearance.

Previously leaked details confirmed the camera as having Wi-Fi connectivity, but no other concrete specifications have been found online as of yet. It is expected to be a mid-range option between the NEX-5 and NEX-7, offering most of the functionality of the latter for a more affordable price. It is likely to use the same 16.1-megapixel APS-C sensor found in the NEX-5R, revealed last week.

The Sony NEX-6 is expected to debut at the Photokina camera show in Cologne next month. [via Engadget]
