Mediawave`s Ultra Small Media Player supports Intel`s Core i7, i5, i3 chips

Mediawave has just introduced its latest product, the MW6110. It's dubbed as an Ultra Small Media Player by its maker, though its capabilities are more advanced than that description suggests. The device can accommodate Intel's Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 CPUs, as well as up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage space.

It measures about 7.9- by 7.3- by 1.6-inches and is meant for multi-zone digital signage, 3D video content playback, IP surveillance camera monitoring, and more.
Standard connections include HDMI, six USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet, and HD Audio. The device can also be custom configured in terms of ports as well.

The MW6110 starts at $500. For that money, buyers get a 250GB, 5,400RPM hard drive, a Realtek Gigabit Ethernet controller, an Intel HD graphics card, and a one-year warranty.
