New images reveal alleged complete iPad mini design

7inch iPad mini expected soon
A Chinese site, DGtle, has posted photos depicting a mockup version of the iPad mini, notes Nowhereelse.fr. The model may have been built from leaked specifications for a third-party accessory maker hoping to test cases. If based on legitimate data, the mockup could be the first glimpse of a complete iPad mini will look like.
As in some earlier leaked part images the mockup uses more steeply rounded edges than the third-generation iPad, plus dual speaker grills and a smaller dock connector at the base. It also has a thinner bezel on two sides, but is otherwise virtually identical to current iPads in terms of design.
When Apple might launch the real hardware is still a matter of debate, although recent rumors have largely discounted the possibility of it showing up at the company's September 12th press event. Instead the company is thought to be preparing a separate October event, where a new iPad model could get more publicity and have more time to ramp up production.
