Stacksocial Macintosh Utility Bundle offers five apps

Stacksocial is offering the Name Your Own Price utility bundle for Mac OS X. The applications offered in the base bundle are Sparkbox, iClip, iDocument, MacCleanse 3, Jaksta Music Converter, and skEdit. While a purchaser can opt to pay whatever they want, if the average purchase price is beaten, then MacFlux 4, Typinator, and ForkLift 2 are added to the purchase for free.

Sixth Humble Indie Bundle launches, carries five games

The sixth incarnation of the Humble Indie Bundle has begun. The five games in the bundle are Rochard, Shatter, strategy title Space Pirates and Zombies (S.P.A.Z.), dungeon crawler Torchlight, and Vessel. All games are Windows and OS X compatible. As with the previous five, the bundle is "pay what you want," but if the average purchase price is exceeded, then platformer Dustforce is included.

After three year absence, MacHeist 4 commences

While the bundle sale hasn't yet started, MacHeist has begun again. The social puzzle solving game has provided 1.4 million members with millions of dollars of free Mac software over the last six years. The last MacHeist in 2009 raised $850,000 for charity, and sold more than 80,000 bundles. The first "heist" has begun, and offers Calendar Plus and two other mystery applications to successful solvers. For the first time, a free iPhone, http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/macheist-4-mission-1-for-ipad/id555560304?ls=1&mt=8iPad, and OS X 10.7 and 10.8 application facilitate the game.
