Blade III confirmed in Finland, Sweden, other Euro countries before year's end
ZTE's upcoming flagship phone, the Blade III that was leaked about a month ago is now official. As the original report noted, the phone will come to Finland's Verkkokauppa first, later in September, before arriving in Sweden sometime in October. It will be available in white at the former and black at the latter.
As for specs, the Android 4.0 handset sports a 4-inch touchscreen with 800x480 resolution and a 1GHz Qualcomm processor paired with 512MB of RAM. Users get just 2.5GB of accessible storage space, but it can be expanded by 32GB thanks to a microSD memory card slot. There is also a five-megapixel main camera out back with autofocusing.
There is Dolby and DLNA media sharing support, while the prerequisite Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi sensors are present, as is an FM radio.
The phone will cost 1,499 SEK (about $230) in Sweden, with other key European markets getting it before year's end. There is no word on a North American release date.
