Invitation includes image of Samsung stylus

Samsung has sent out invites to a special event later next month. Invites asking to “Save the Date” of October 24th have been sent to media outlets, with the event being located somewhere in New York City. Despite the lack of a named product, the invite does still provide a few clues for what is to be revealed to the press.

Prominent across the invite are the words "The Next Big Thing Is Here," underneath a Samsung-branded stylus. It could possibly be an event sharing details of the Galaxy Note II launch in the US, though the use of the term "big" could mean something to do with the Galaxy Note 10.1, or even a larger tablet size again.

If it does turn out to be the US launch for the Note II, it has already been suggested that it will reach at least AT&T, along with T-Mobile, Bell Canada, and Sprint. [via BGR]
