Note II to be available in two color models
T-Mobile and Samsung announced today that, as expected, the Galaxy Note II would be coming to T-Mobile's network this fall. The follow up to last year's surprise hit phablet will come to T-Mobile sporting a bigger screen than the original, while managing a slimmer form factor. The device will be compatible with T-Mobile's 4G network, and it will come preloaded with a number of T-Mobile specific apps.
The Galaxy Note II has a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED screen, quad-core 1.6GHz Exynos processor, and 3100mAh battery. It will also ship Android 4.1, making it the first T-Mobile smartphone to do so. The Note II will also feature the enhanced functionalities recently added in a firmware upgrade.
T-Mobile's version of the Note II will also feature a new racing game pre-loaded with three levels of a racing game. T-Mobile's version has been optimized to interact with a MOGA Mobile Gaming System, allowing users to have an experience said to be near console quality.
The Note II will also be able to share content wirelessly with Samsung's AllShare Cast feature and AllShare Wireless Hub accessory. That accessory is available now in T-Mobile retail stores and at T-Mobile's website. The Note II will be available in the coming weeks at T-Mobile retail stores, select national retailers, and online. T-Mobile has yet to reveal pricing or launch details.
