Leak shows Verizon will get Nokia Atlas handset

Verizon-bound Nokia Atlas leaked in a photo


Nokia will ship a newly named handset, the Atlas, to Verizon, evleaks revealed thanks to a leaked image. While not much technical details are known about the handset, it will run on Windows Phone 8 software. It will also support Verizon's high-speed LTE network.

Otherwise, the phone should share many of its features with the Lumia 820 and Lumia 810, even though the phones look physically different.

The handset is expected to be officially revealed at the Windows Phone event scheduled for October 29. The handset should arrive at Verizon sometime in November.
