Basic font, theme options added
Twitter has released simultaneous updates for the Mac, Windows, Chrome, and web versions of TweetDeck, its more advanced client software. The main change is the addition of a new theme which casts black text on a white background, instead of the standard white text on gray. A simple toggle control flips the theme back and forth at will.
Font size has meanwhile been made customizable. Small, Medium, and Large settings are available, translating into 13-, 14-, or 15-point fonts. The option can be found under the General tab in Settings.
Twitter says it has also made general improvements to the legibility of text, icons, buttons, and other interface elements. Tweets should be easier to read, and also more consistent with the look of Twitter's other official clients.
