ISIS mobile payments to arrive in Salt Lake City, Austin, on October 22

The ISIS mobile payment system is set to go live on October 22, according to some leaked memos from the carrier. Shared by TMoNews, the image reveals that the ISIS Mobile Wallet app will arrive at Google Play store on October 22. Those in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Austin, Texas, will be able to use the system as part of a pilot program.

Those keen to leave their actual wallets at home need to have an NFC radio-equipped but unrooted Galaxy S II, Galaxy S III, or Galaxy S Relay 4G smartphones. They will also have to get an ISIS SIM card. Another image reveals that users can get a $10 ISIS credit when they activate their ISIS mobile wallet and another $15 if they convert their ISIS cash card to a reloadable prepaid card.

ISIS is a joint venture between AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon, with Chase, Capital One, and Barclaycard the first banks to support it.
