Rumor: Nokia Lumia 920 exclusive to AT&T for 6 months

Lumis 920 training videos leak online

The Nokia Lumia 920 will allegedly be exclusive to AT&T for a six-month period. If true, this would see the carrier continuing to be the sole US source of higher-end Nokia handsets, following its exclusivity agreement for the Lumia 900 that has ran since March. AT&T representatives are also being trained through a number of training videos that have also leaked online.

A source speaking to wpcentral claimed that AT&T staff are in the middle of the training, with the supplied videos only being part of the company's internal educational materials. The first video gives a general overview of the Lumia 920's capabilities and specifications, and the second focuses on wireless charging and NFC. The third is entirely devoted to the City Lens app, showing its ability to identify local attractions and stores, as well as it's in-camera view.

Although the carrier has not confirmed a specific date for the Lumia 920 release, it has confirmed it will take place at some point in November, and that the WP8 flagship smartphone will run on its 4G LTE network.
