SwiftKey Flow beta due to arrive in the next few weeks with new features

SwiftKey is teasing its latest upcoming Android virtual keyboard extension with the SwiftKey Flow, which will soon be released as a beta to those who sign up. The embedded video demo below certainly impresses with the speed of the real-time prediction algorithms. Both regular taps and flowing gestures are supported at the same time, so users don't have to select one or the other.

The typist needs to lift their finger off the keyboard as soon as Flow predicts the proper word to make it stick. SwiftKey Flow beta is said to arrive over the course of the next few weeks. SwiftKey Flow will continuously predict words as they are typed, giving users the choice to select from a list and not completely type or 'flow' it out.

The original SwiftKey app is the best seller in 30 countries, with 15 million total downloads. SwiftKey is available in 44 countries, and the company is based in the UK.
