Frameless design allows for easier corner swiping

MSI has launched a new all-in-one Windows 8 PC containing what the company calls "military class components." The Wind Top AE2712 has a 27-inch 1080p display with ten-point multitouch, housed in a frameless design that makes swiping to the corners, part of the new UI of Windows 8, easier to accomplish.

Powered by a third-gen Intel processor supported by 4GB of RAM, the Wind Top has options to run either on Intel HD 2500 graphics or NVIDIA GeForce GT630M graphics, and either a DVD multidrive or a Blu-ray Combo drive for media playback. Wi-Fi to 802.11n, Ethernet, HDMI-in and HDMI-out, a pair of USB 3.0 ports, and a 3-in-1 card reader provide connectivity, and a wireless keyboard and mouse are also included.

Both versions of the Wind Top, with and without NVIDIA graphics, will be shipping from November 9th, and will cost around £830 ($1,300)
