New Evernote version sees UI redesign
The iOS version of popular note-taking service Evernote has just received an update today. The new update brings a number of UI improvements and a focus on ease of use. The update to version 5.0 is compatible with iPhones, iPods, and iPads running iOS 5.0 or later.
Users upgrading to version 5.0 will now have quick access to notes, notebooks, tags, and more from the home screen. Evernote focused on making it possible to do things in the app with fewer taps, and the new version adds the ability to create new notebooks from the Notebook list, display notes on a zoomable map, and share notebooks with acquaintances.
On the iPad, Evernote has added notebook stack support in Notebooks view and a list of recently viewed and edited notes.
The update also brings a number of bug and stability fixes. Evernote version 5.0 is available as a free, 25.8MB update in the iTunes App Store.
