First Windows Phone 8 devices arrive at Verizon on Tuesday
First AT&T, and now Verizon has dated its version of Nokia's Lumia 820, the Lumia 822. The handset can now be pre-ordered, as promised just yesterday, but Verizon just revealed it will ship by Tuesday, November 13. It will cost $99 on a two-year voice and data plan, which is twice as much as it costs at AT&T.
At the same time, HTC's 8X will also ship at the same time at Verizon, with pre-orders going live today as well. Both it and the 822 run on Windows Phone 8, becoming the first ones to do so at the carrier. Just the black and blue versions arrive on Tuesday, however, with the red version coming by the 21st of November. Either way, it costs $200 on a two-year agreement or $550 contract-free.
