T-Mobile GS III now getting Google Now, Project Butter
A few months after a build was initially leaked, the T-Mobile version of Samsung's Galaxy S III has begun receiving its update to Android 4.1.1. Owners of the handset should begin receiving notifications that their S IIIs are eligible for a software update some time today or over the next few days. The update can be triggered either through checking the phone's settings or by using Samsung's Kies app.
The update to version 4.1.1 will bring improved functionality and considerably improved animations for the Android user interface. It also brings improved camera function and the ability to use Google Now, Google's digital search assistant.
