Shipments of the LTE-enabled iPad mini have already begun arriving in North American stores, and it appears that European customers will have to wait until late November or early December before receiving theirs. AQ Audio rolls out AQ SmartSpeaker

British audio equipment maker AQ Audio launched its first product for the US market today with the AQ SmartSpeaker, which already debuted to solid reception in the United Kingdom. The AQ SmartSpeaker features AirPlay compatibility, allowing it to stream audio from iOS and OS X devices. Its AQ Direct Freedom feature allows users to stream not only their iTunes libraries, but Internet radio stations as well.

The device is also compatible with Android devices and devices running Windows 7 and above. Its battery allows for up to 10 hours of play, and the SmartSpeaker features an ECO power management system that powers down the device after a week of non-use. The AQ SmartSpeaker is available for $179 for a single unit, $349 for two units, or $675 for a four-pack at AQ Audio's site and from Amazon.
