Insight brings real-time visual meter monitoring, flexible analyses

Digital audio signal processing software maker iZotope announced today a new metering suite for postproduction and broadcast applications. The new software, Insight, gives audio engineers a customizable and scalable solution for monitoring information, with a user interface aimed at allowing users to take a deep look into their audio and analyze it with intelligent tools in real-time. The software is structured to conform to current broadcast standards, and features meters for immediate loudness calculation and True Peak detection.

Insight also includes advanced visualization and spatialization displays, aiding users in detecting problems typically inaudible to the human ear. It features real-time offline loudness calculation, as well as a range of user presets aimed at making common metering and loudness configuration tasks easier and more efficient.

Insight is available for a special price of $399 until November 29. Customers that own Ozone 5 Advanced will receive an email instructing them on how to download Insight for free. After November 29, Insight will revert to its regular price of $499, and it can be purchased at iZotope's site.
