Deal online-only, requires two-year contract
US carrier AT&T has begun selling refurbished models of the iPhone 5 at a $100 discount. The deal is online-only, and still requires signing up for a two-year contract, as with new models. The cut lowers the 16GB iPhone 5 down to $100, the 32GB to $200, and the 64GB to $300. Black and white options are available. Apple doesn't sell any refurbished iPhones itself. Instead the company's refurbs are limited to Macs, iPads, and iPods, as well as some related accessories and peripherals.

It's a web-only offer. I have purchased items online from all over the US, Canada, Europe, even India and Tibet. I have no problem.
But after 1 1/2 hours fighting with their horrible website, I finally gave up. It would change information I inserted. It would delete information I inserted. It would add information I didn't insert. It would not update. I would have to log out and log in just to get it to do anything. And when it showed an invoice, it was incomplete.
For a company the size of AT&T they should at least get one tester to try out their monstrosity of a website and tell those morons, "Hey! This doesn't work!"
So I tried to write them an email. That took another 15 minutes going through different choices. It's insane and disrespectful.
A pox on their web designer and pox on them.:thumbsdow :thumbsdow :thumbsdow
