Launches precede rumored Moscow event

(Updated with info on Russian iTunes Match, Lebanon) The iTunes Music Store has gone live in Russia and Turkey, users say. iOS screenshots show prices of about 15 rubles (49 cents) or 0.89 Turkish lira (50 cents) per track. In Turkey, an album should typically cost 9.99 lira, or about $5.59. Apple hasn't publicly announced the expansions.

The company is, however, rumored to be holding an event in Moscow tomorrow night, which could be used to make the rollouts official. Still more countries could see launches, as well; today Apple revealed that over 50 more countries are getting the iPhone 5 this month, and Apple frequently likes to time iTunes expansions to the arrival of new devices.

Update: Accounts indicate that the iTunes Music Store has also gone live in Lebanon. And in Russia, an iTunes Match subscription reportedly costs 799 rubles per year, roughly equal to the $25 US pricetag.
