Nexus 4 goes back on sale, sells out quickly

The return of Google's Nexus 4 to the Canadian Play Store appears to have been as brief as return in other countries, as Canadian buyers will now see the 8GB model listed as out of stock and the 16GB model shipping in six to seven weeks. Google sent out word earlier today that the device would be available at 12:00 PM PST for Canadian Play Store shoppers, but Electronista's most recent look at the Nexus 4's product page indicates that it has sold out within a half-hour of becoming available.

Google has had a hard time keeping the Nexus 4 in stock since the device sold out in its first 24 minutes of availability. Since then, It has quickly sold out whenever it has become available.

Gmail 4.2 now available for Android 4.0+

Google has updated the Gmail app for Android users running Android 4.0 or above, bringing a number of previously revealed features to the email app. The update brings a new pinch-to-zoom feature, allowing users to zoom in on messages so long as the "Auto-fit messages" option is enabled. It also allows users to swipe to delete or archive messages. Also, the message text size option has been removed, each label has its own contextual unread count, and attachments have been moved to the bottom of messages. The update is available for free in the Google Play Store for devices running at least Android 4.0.
