Google to return to Moscone Center West for next I/O

Google has set a date for the next installment of its annual developer event, Google I/O. The search giant will be returning to Moscone Center West in San Francisco from May 15 through May 17 of next year. Registration details about the event will be announced in February.

Google I/O has become one of the main venues for Google to show off new features for its Android mobile operating system, as well as to unveil new hardware. This year's event saw the introduction of the Nexus 7, a 7-inch tablet produced in partnership with Asus, as well as an extreme sports-oriented demonstration of Google's wearable computing project, Google Glass.
