New Jersey outlet moves to much larger space

Apple is set to open four new retail stores this Saturday, ifoAppleStore remarks. Two of these are in China, including the MixC outlet in Chengdu, and the Causeway Bay location in Hong Kong. Australia is getting a store in Fountain Gate in Narre Warren (outside Melbourne), while Sweden's second-ever store will be based in the Emporia in Malmö.

In New Jersey, meanwhile, the Rockaway outlet is scheduled to move into a much bigger space. The existing space is a "mini" store, representing a concept Apple has largely abandoned. The new space should measure about 6,000 square feet, putting it on par with its modern siblings.

Apple is planning to open about 30 to 35 more stores during its 2013 fiscal year, which is already underway. Most of these are due to launch outside the US, as the company tries to expand outside the already-saturated American market.

it's interesting that they designate the hong kong store as being in china. that's one of those that could go one way or the other.

Hong Kong has always been in China. England merely rented it for a while (ok, a long while) and the lease came up.
