Galaxy Camera comes to Verizon on December 13
Verizon and Samsung announced today that the Galaxy Camera would be coming to Verizon's 4G LTE network on December 13. The Galaxy Camera pairs an Android-powered touchscreen interface with a high-performance camera, and the 4G LTE connectivity allows for photo sharing and web browsing from the same device. The Galaxy Camera will be available for $550, and users will be able to add it to their Share Everything accounts for a promotional price of $5 per month.
The Galaxy Camera has a 4.8-inch HD Super Clear LCD touchscreen and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It is fully compatible with apps in Google's Play Store, allowing users to download and use apps like Instagram directly from the camera.
In addition to its touchscreen interface, the Galaxy Camera packs a 16MP sensor, optical image stabilization, and a 21x optical zoom lens. It will be available in Cobalt Black, exclusive to Verizon Wireless, and White.
