Nokia sells, leases back head office building


Nokia announced today that it had completed the sale and lease-back of its head office building in Espoo, Finland. The embattled phone maker sold the Espoo building to Exilion, having originally announced the transaction on December 4 of this year. Nokia will continue to occupy the facility, but the proceeds from the sale will generate much needed revenue for the phone maker as it attempts to gain back market share in the smartphone sector.

Arctic Wallet Stand for iPhone 5

The Arctic Accessories team announced today the availability of its new Arctic Wallet Stand for the iPhone 5. The Arctic Wallet Stand provides a three-in-one multipurpose case for the new iPhone, containing a slim pouch for storing cards, cash, and coins; a kickstand for placing the iPhone 5 in portrait mode for video conferencing; and a screen protector. The Stand also works with most electronic card readers worldwide, and it is available in grey, red, orange, and pink. The Arctic Wallet Stand is available from Arctic Accessories, and it currently retails for $25.

Mobile Parental launches PhoneSheriff v 2.0

Retina-X Studios today announced the launch of PhoneSheriff 2.0, which allows parents to monitor and block content coming onto smartphones in real time. The new version of PhoneSheriff includes a real-time GPS tracking feature, which has its own new map interface. It also can be set to block particular apps and websites, as well as SMS and calls. With PhoneSheriff, parents can put time restrictions on calls, as well as times that the phone cannot be used at all. The software is compatible with Android, iPhone, and BlackBerry handsets and includes a stealth mode so that the person using the phone is not even aware of the software's presence. PhoneSheriff 2.0 is available for $50 per year, and parents can get more information on it at PhoneSheriff.com.

    You should do a little more research on PhoneSheriff 2.0 for your article. It requires a jailbroken iPhone to work.
