Server details show upgrades for multiple regions, carriers

Windows Phone updates for a number of Nokia handsets have appeared on the company's servers. The upgrade from Windows Phone 7.5 to 7.8 for the Lumia 610, Lumia 710, and Lumia 900 have been sighted on the server, complete with region-specific versions for each handset, though a formal update has yet to be announced.

As spotted by Nokiapoweruser, the updates have appeared in NaviFirm Plus, with the regional versions appearing for most European countries and APAC variants, suggesting that it will be rolled out in the near future. Though the firmware update is available to download, users doing so risk bricking the handset if something goes wrong with the update.

Microsoft has already demonstrated the Windows Phone 7.8 start screen, which now includes resizable tiles and options to change the color of individual items.
