Ashton Kutcher Jobs biopic set for April 2013 release

The filmmakers behind jOBS, the independent biopic on late Apple founder Steve Jobs, have announced that the film will be released in cinemas in April of this year. As MovieWeb reported today, the film will screen on the final night of the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, and open with Open Road Films handling distribution in the United States, with Inferno Entertainment handling international sales. A different Jobs biopic, with Aaron Sorkin adapting Walter Isaacson's Jobs biography, is still in development and does not yet have a release date.

All T-Mobile stores to get Nexus 4 this month

An internal memo obtained by TmoNews reveals that perpetually sold-out Nexus 4 smartphone from Google and LG will be available in all T-Mobile retail locations later in January. The handset is estimated to have sold about 400,000 units since launch, even though supply has apparently been very limited.

BlackBerry Z10 pictured with Verizon branding

Yet more images of Research In Motion's forthcoming touchscreen BlackBerry 10 device have leaked to the Internet, this time showing the BlackBerry Z10 sporting Verizon branding. Business Insider got a hold of the pics today, saying that their source has been testing two variants of the Z10: one on Verizon and one on AT&T. The Verizon model sports carrier branding on the front of the device.

The source says the Z10 has a "really nice" build quality, with a rubbery back cover that snaps on like the cover on Samsung's Galaxy S III. The device is also said to have a "great" screen, a web browser with Flash support as fast as a desktop's, multiple profiles, and Evernote integration. RIM's reworked AppWorld is said to look like Google's Play Store, and the Z10 also starts up in just one minute, according to the source.

the Z10 also starts up in just one minute

I just checked my iPhone 5. It started up (to the swipe to unlock screen) in 20 seconds and found the AT&T network in 37 seconds. So one minute sounds pretty darn slow. I don't have any Android devices - how long do they take to start up?
