F8000 series ranges from 46 to 75 inches

At CES today, Samsung unveiled its new line of flagship LED televisions, the F8000 series. The new range of televisions will range between 46 and 75 inches, and they feature a quad-core processor, allowing users to interact with their televisions with a range of gesture and voice controls. The processor in the F8000 series is said to be three times faster than the processor found in Samsung's 2012 models.

A brief demo video of the televisions in action showed users using natural language and full sentences to browse and select content. The televisions also feature a reworked Smart Hub interface with a five-panel layout, letting users switch between apps, live television, images, and other content. The televisions also allow users to zoom in and interact with content using a range of hand gestures.

In addition to the interaction features, Samsung showed off an Evolution Kit, a "cost efficient way of having the latest Smart TV features without having to buy a new television set." The Evolution Kit plugs into the back of a Samsung television. Samsung did not provide any details on how backward compatible the Evolution Kit will be.
