Listing of supporting companies so far up to 10

Korea's Hyundai is joining the list of car makers supporting Apple's Siri Eyes-Free technology, according to a CES announcement. The company hasn't identified specific car models yet, but says that upcoming vehicles with dashboard consoles will get the technology. Using Eyes-Free requires a mobile device running iOS 6.

The feature integrates iOS devices with a car's voice command systems, and puts a trigger button on the steering wheel, ensuring that a person never has to look down at an iPhone or iPad to talk to Siri. It also prevents a device from lighting up every time a Siri command goes through. Hyundai included, 10 car brands now have Eyes-Free: the others are Audi, BMW, Chevy, Chrysler, Honda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, and Toyota.
