One input selector, two video streamers added to lineup

Accessory manufacturer IOGear added three new products to its lineup today at the Consumer Electronics Show. The Wireless 5x2 HD Matrix, Wireless Mobile and WiDi to HDTV, and the Wireless 1080P Computer to HD Display Kit were all shown. All three devices will be available at retail shortly after conclusion of the expo.

The Wireless 5x2 HD Matrix showcases the industry’s first product capable of sending two separate full, uncompressed HD 1080p video streams to two displays or projectors from up to five digital and analog sources, and switching among the various sources independently. The device retails for $300.

Two wireless products to bridge HD content across devices for high-quality viewing experiences were also unveiled today. The IOGEAR Wireless Mobile and WiDi to HDTV is one of a growing number of devices to enable wireless streaming from either a smartphone or laptop to a TV. In addition, the latest release of the Wireless 1080p Computer to HD Display Kit features new compatibility with Apple laptops and a smaller receiver with a horizontal profile for easier integration into entertainment systems. Supporting both Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) and Miracast, the product works with all the latest devices. The device combo is expected to retail for $80.

Finally, IOGear revealed the Wireless 1080p Computer to HD Display Kit , allowing high-definition video to be streamed from a PC or Apple laptop to an HDTV up to 30 feet away. Building on previous product releases, the fourth generation IOGear product offers Apple compatibility and supports Microsoft’s Windows 8. The smaller, horizontal profile of the wireless receiver will fit into almost any home entertainment space and features one HDMI and one VGA output for video support. The kit retails for $150.
