Hulu previews new original shows, adds to exclusives catalog

Renews exclusive programming from France, UK
Hulu has previewed three new shows that it will air in the summer as part of its original programming drive. The new shows, a pair of comedy series and a docu-series, are also joined by a number of new exclusive shows that will start in January, while existing Hulu-specific programming has also seen renewals.
Writers from SNL and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon created Hulu's first animated series The Awesomes, about a superhero team that loses it's more-powerful members. Working with BBC America, James Corden and Mathew Baynton wrote and star in a criminal conspiracy comedy called The Wrong Mans. Docu-series Behind The Mask rounds off the new shows, where Emmy award-winning filmmaker Josh Greenbaum explores the world of sports mascots.
French crime Drama Braquo and animated comedy Mother Up! also joins Hulu's exclusive shows list, while Fresh Meat, Prisoners of War, and Pramface have been renewed for a second season.
All of the announced shows will be available through Hulu.com and the Hulu Plus subscription service.
