Four new designs added to protective lineup

STM Bags, an Australian manufacturer of protective and ergonomically-designed laptop bags and accessories, has announced the availability of four new iPad mini cases. The new collection features the Skinny, Grip, Marquee and Jacket D7 designs. All four cases are available at retail now.

The lightweight Skinny for iPad mini is a snap-on, hard-shell back case with soft lining to provide protection from scratches and bumps. The front cover provides additional protection, and when opened or closed places the iPad mini on sleep or wake mode. The Skinny's front cover can be folded, allowing users to place the Mini in both typing and viewing angles. Additional features include access to all ports and controls and a loop closure. The Skinny for iPad mini is available in four colors -- berry, pink, royal blue and black -- for $35.

STM Bags' Grip for iPad mini features protective construction to carry the Mini on the go. The case's kickstand can be placed in a low position for typing or in a higher position for viewing movies, playing games, FaceTime chatting and other similar activities. The snap-on, hard-shell back with soft lining and front cover provide full protection. The front cover when opened or closed conveniently places the iPad mini in sleep or wake mode, and the case gives access to all ports and controls. The Grip for iPad mini is available in four trendy colors, and sells for $40.

The slim Marquee for iPad mini -- available in pink, white, black or royal blue -- is a premium soft leather case with a hard snap-on back, foldable front cover and loop to securely store a (not included) stylus. The protective case can be placed in both typing and viewing modes, and gives access to all ports and buttons on the device. The Marquee retails for $80.

The Jacket D7 for iPad mini combines protection and versatility with style, says the company. The sleeve is constructed from water-resistant nylon, wiht high-density closed-cell padding and is lined with polyester microfiber to cradle the Mini. The sleeve features large zippered pockets to store cables, chargers and other accessories. The secure, front-mounted pockets give quick access to smaller items such as a cellphone or wallet, while the full-width rear pocket provides ample storage for documents and other non-bulky items. Additional features include top-quality YKK zippers with protective flanges, and a removable and adjustable shoulder strap. The Jacket D7 comes in either a stylish black/green or chocolate/orange color and can be purchased for $25.
