New models designed for compact, low footprint office use

Electronics manufacturer Panasonic announced today the new KV-S1026C and KV-S1015C personal workgroup document scanners, aimed at small and medium businesses looking to organize, sync and share documents or protect important physical records with digital archives. The KV-S1026C and KV-S1015C offer high-speed scanning of up to 30 pages per minute and 20 pages per minute, both at 200 DPI.

The KV-S1026C and KV-S1015C scanners are equipped with enterprise-grade paper feed mechanisms. An active double-feed prevention roller system, together with an ultrasonic double-feed detection sensor, detect and prevent two pages from feeding at the same time even with high volume documents or a mixed paper-size batch. Additionally, a right and left independent feed roller, combined with a straight paper path further help to prevent document jams.

Included with the scanner, Presto PageManager 9 software streamlines document management and filing, featuring the ability to convert documents to searchable PDF files while providing access to cloud-based services. Presto BizCard 6 software enables end users to organize business cards, with the ability to extract contact data and export it to major email clients.

The KV-S1026C comes bundled with the Panasonic Image Capture Plus software suite, allowing users to easily scan and preview images before exporting to searchable PDF, TIFF or JPEG documents. The Image Capture Plus software also offers blank page removal, Zone OCR and automatic cropping. The KV-S1026C and KV-S1015C come with a three-year advance exchange warranty and are available immediately through authorized resellers at an retail price of $595 and $495, respectively.
