HTC One to get February 19 reveal, land in the US on March 22

HTC's 2013 flagship smartphone, which is to be known simply as the 'One' is expected to go on sale in the US on March 22, reports HTC Source. The device, formerly known by its M7 codename, will launch on AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint for $200 on a two-year contract. For that price, users will get a 32GB model with the option to pay $300 for a 64GB model.

The HTC One will feature a metal unibody casing in black as well as a silver/white version. The LCD display supports a native 1080p resolution measuring either 4.7 or 5-inches diagonally. Like the LG Optimus G Pro, it will run the Qualcomm Snapdragon Pro quad-core processor, clocked at 1.7GHz. HTC's 2012 flagship the One X was powered by the Nvidia Tegra 3, however Nvidia has revealed that the Tegra 4 won't ship until July.

HTC's website is currently running a live countdown clock, which includes some teaser images of the One. It will get its official reveal on February 19, just ahead of Mobile World Congress, where we expect to get our hands on the device proper. European users can expect to get it ahead of other markets, with its arrival scheduled for March 8.
