Target offers pair of Soundfreaq Bluetooth streamers for $250
For a limited time, retailer Target is running a special promotion offering two Soundfreaq Sound Platform 2 units for $250 so consumers can experience Sound Platform 2’s dual system streaming feature, which allows two speakers to be paired together via Bluetooth to work as one speaker system with powerful sound and true stereo separation. The device features an upgradeable rechargeable battery, dual USB power ports to charge external devices, and a universal device tray to contain any phone and some tablets. The Sound Platform 2 normally retails for $150 per unit.
Outbox deploys minions to sort, scan US mail for web access
Startup Outbox has launched in San Francisco, providing users a service that collects and manages postal mail on users’ behalf, enabling them to access, organize, discard or completely unsubscribe from any piece of mail from their computer, iPad or iPhone. Upon signup and setup, Outbox employees will go to a user’s mailbox three times a week to retrieve postal mail, then bring it back to Outbox’s secure mail warehouse, where the mail is digitized and delivered via the Web. If the user ever wants a piece of mail delivered to them, they can make the request from any of the apps and receive the mail in 1-2 days. Outbox is $5 per mailbox per month, with no additional fees for delivery or mail volume.
Memory Mate Pro displays, clears iOS device RAM
iOS developers Alice Dev Team have announced the release of Memory Mate Pro, an app that helps users free wasted memory from an iOS device. Memory Mate Pro is currently the only app on the App Store that has been specifically designed to protect iPads and iPhones from apps that consume and don't properly release device resources. The app features a graphic display of available memory, stat collection, and constant update of an iOS device memory status. Memory Mate Pro for iOS is available for $0.99 on the iTunes App Store..
