Hotspot usable in Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Hong Kong

Roaming communications provider Voiamo has updated its Globalgig subscription plans for customers that require data whilst traveling abroad. The new price plans, including a new 18-month contract that includes the Globalgig WiFi hotspot at no charge, are accompanied by an expansion of its service to four new locations.

The company's 1GB plan has reduced by 32-percent to $17 per month, something the company says is lower than international data rates offered by national carriers. Customers wanting more data allowances can pay $25 for 2GB, $45 for 5GB, or $80 for 10GB per month, with subscribers opting for the 18-month contract receiving the hotspot for free instead of paying $120 for the device off-contract.

The list of countries Globalgig can be used in now includes Denmark, Hong Kong, Ireland, and Sweden. The four new regions join existing carrier agreements the company has with Sprint in the US, Three in the UK, as well as in Australia.
