Gasket V8 iPhone 5 case to launch Mar 20

id America has announced the upcoming launch of a new iPhone 5 case inspired by the shape of a head gasket from a performance V8 engine. The Gasket V8 is built from aircraft aluminum and features a suede interior that can help prevent damage from bumps and scratches. Offered in Titanium Gray, Vintage Gold, Aluminum Silver, Rally Blue, Brilliant Red, and Forest Green, the case will become available for purchase on March 20th through id America's online store at a cost of $30.

OfficeProtect update now supports two protection models

OfficeProtect 2.0, an updated version of Excel Software's tool for protecting Office documents with a secure software license, has been released. Now supporting two protection models, the VBA Bound License and Encrypted XLSM, OfficeProtect allows users to implement different levels of protection for every document. A VBA Bound License uses password protected VBA code to bind an Office document to the QuickLicense runtime file. Meanwhile the Encrypted XLSM approach allows an Excel spreadsheet to be distributed as an app that is activated for a specific computer, but allows editing changes to be saved as encrypted documents. OfficeProtect 2.0 is $395 for a Single User License that supports Microsoft Office on both Mac and Windows.
