ADATA deploys pair of server grade SATA-3 SSDs

Drives estimated at 1,500,000-hour mean time between failure

DRAM and interface card manufacturer ADATA today announced the launch of the enterprise grade SX1000L solid state drive (SSD) series. Available in 2.5-inch standard SATA drive form factor, the pair of SX1000L drives implement the advanced controller technology to enhance read/write performance.

The SX1000L employs static wear-leveling technology to maximize device mean time between failures (MTBF) to 1,500,000 hours, providing the long-term dependability required by high density computing and heavy load server operations. Sequential read speeds reach 560MB per second, and sequential write peak at 340MB per second.

The SX1000L SSD will be available in capacities of 100GB and 200GB. Both models carry a five-year warranty. Pricing is not yet available.
