App launcher adds Facebook status buttons
Images reportedly showing Facebook's new Android user interface and app have appeared online. The shots of Facebook Home, accompanied by a render of a smartphone said to be revealed at tomorrow's event, appears to display a Facebook-centric interface, along with an extremely minimal Android home screen, and a lock screen with notifications.
The images from @evleaks through 9 to 5 Google shows an app launcher that seems close to the usual Android app launcher, with additional Facebook-related buttons at the top for Status, Photo, and Check In. The lock screen shows a number of notifications both from Facebook and a missed call, while a third image shows a sharing pane.
The phone itself, the HTC First, is said to have a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor with 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear and 1.6MP front cameras, and a 4.3-inch 720p display.
