Similar specification to Series 7 Chronos, different casing
A new notebook from Samsung has leaked online, after it appeared on the company's website for a brief period of time. Before being pulled from view, the site revealed that the ATIV Book 6 notebook has a Full HD 15.6-inch touchscreen running on Windows 8, and will be launched in the United States in the near future.
Inside, the ATIV Book 6 has a quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with 8GB of RAM, a 1TB hard drive for storage, and graphics provided by an AMD Radeon HD8770M GPU, according to SammyHub. It also has a 720p HD webcam, JBL speakers, USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, support for WiDi, and HDMI and VGA ports. It will also have a backlit keyboard around 8 hours of battery life. Overall, it appears to be similar in specification to the Series 7 Chronos, though it loses the "Bare Metal Hue" casing for "Mineral Ash Black."
Samsung is said to have priced the ATIV Book 6 at $1,200.
