Vega Iron screen takes up 75.5-percent of front surface

Pantech has introduced another device in its range of Vega smartphones. The Vega Iron adds a minimalistic 2.4mm (0.1-inch) bezel to a five-inch 720p display, creating a mobile phone with a viewable area hitting 75.5-percent of the total area available on the front, something the manufacturer believes is the "world's best implementation."

Inside the Vega Iron is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 running at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage expandable by microSD, a 2,150mAh battery, and a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, according to The Droid Guy. It also has support for 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and a gaze recognition system similar to the Galaxy S4.

Pricing and release details are currently unknown for the Vega Iron, but it is likely to be cheaper than the Vega No.6 phablet.
