Uses 4.3-inch Super LCD2 display, Beats audio
HTC has unveiled a new model in its range of Desire devices, that will apparently be released in Taiwan in the coming months. The Desire L has a 4.3-inch Super LCD2 display with a resolution of 800x480, Beats audio processing, and a design that takes a lot of cues from phones like the Desire X and One S.
The listing on the HTC Taiwan website, spotted by Android Police, mentions a 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage expandable by microSD, and a five-megapixel rear camera. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and 3G connectivity is available on the Desire L, along with GPS, GLONASS and a 1,800mAh battery.
The budget HTC Sense-enabled Android handset isn't likely to reach the US or Europe after the Taiwan release. HTC has been contacted to clarify if a future US release of the Desire L is on the cards.
