Marshall aims for high-end casual market with new Monitor headphones
Marshall has released its latest branded headphones dubbed the Monitor. The headphones are the first from Marshall that utilize an over-ear design, but is also relatively compact and features a collapsible design. Designed with studio listening in mind, the Monitor also incorporates an F.T.F insert that can be removed to allow a user to tailor their listening experience.
For users who prefer a laidback and warmer sound, Marshall recommends keeping the F.T.F system in place; however, removing the insert will appeal to those looking for a brighter, more treble rich sound. Marshall also touts the trim of the Monitor headphones, which includes stitched vinyl leather, brass hinges and the famous white script logo. Marshall also employs a double-ended coil cord with mic and remote that is completely detachable allowing the user to pick which side they prefer to have their cord connected.
Marshall is also running a competition as part of the launch for the Monitor headphones. To enter, users just need to post a picture of themselves with their favorite rock star and post it to Twitter or Instagram with at #IMWITHTHEBAND. Alternatively, they are available now for purchase through the Marshall headphones website for $250.
