Mophie adds Juice Pack for HTC One, HTC Watch service shuttered in six countries

Mophie has released a Juice Pack battery case for the HTC One. Like the versions for iPhones in the past, the case doubles to offer both protection and extended battery life. Mophie promises that the accessory will double the battery life for HTC One users on the go.

The Juice Pack incorporates a 2500mAh battery, more than matching the 2300mAh battery built in to the HTC One itself. Mophie says that it has tried to minimize bulk, while making it easy to initiate a charge with flip of a switch. The charge remain in the case can be quickly determined by its built-in indicator, while it the case allows for the phone to be charged and synced at the same time. It is retailing in black and silver for $99.95.

In other news, HTC is shuttering its Watch movie service in six countries including Italy, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and the Netherlands. The service, which had been launched to coincide with the availability of the HTC Flyer tablet in mid-2011, has failed to gain enough support from customers. "As we continue to deliver new content for HTC Watch, we've made the decision to focus our efforts on markets with the highest engagement" a statement from the company reads. "After May 31, we'll discontinue support for HTC Watch in countries with less application traffic." [via Slashgear]
