Finnish company site follows previous Amazon leak
The Acer Iconia W3 has been leaked yet again, but this time through Acer itself, and confirming it as having an 8.1-inch 1280x768-resolution display. The company's Finnish website shows the Intel Atom-powered tablet, complete with an optional keyboard dock and Windows 8 Pro pre-installed, after previously being shown by mistake on Amazon before being pulled from view.
The Acer website lists the Icona W3 as having options for 32 or 64Gb of storage, according to Slashgear, with the wide keyboard dock allowing Acer to provide full-sized keys instead of miniaturized versions. It will also have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and USB 2.0 connectivity, a Micro HDMI port, a 2-megapixel front-facing webcam, and a battery claimed to last for 8 hours.
While the Finnish site doesn't confirm a release date or price for the Iconia W3, a company director confirmed it will launch on June 4th.
