Samsung releases revised TecTiles NFC stickers for Galaxy S4

Samsung has released an updated version of its NFC tagging stickers that will work with the Galaxy S4. TecTiles 2 can be assigned individual on-device functions, like automatically updating Facebook and Twitter with a predefined status or muting all sounds, that are triggered when scanned by an NFC-enabled Samsung smartphone running Android. A pack of five updated TecTile stickers cost $15.


Google Field Trip provides free tickets to 13 US museums

Google Field Trip is offering free access to a number of museums in the US. Museums, including the Adler Planetarium in Chicago, the Museum of Arts and Design in New York, the Portland Art Museum, and 11 others in six cities will provide free entry to patrons who show the Free Entry card from Field Trip. It was not revealed on the app's Google+ page how many free tickets would be provided to Field Trip users over the course of the promotion.
