Twitter launches Vine on Android, adds zoom function

Twitter has released a version of Vine for Android through Google Play. The video sharing app, originally launching on iOS in January with a few teething issues, has made the transition over to Android after reaching 13 million active users. While many of the app's features make it across, such as finding friends and sharing to Twitter, the company blog reveals that the Android version has been given one extra that the iOS variant currently lacks: a zoom function.

Verizon confirms HTC One on sale through carrier "later this summer"

Verizon has confirmed the HTC One will be heading onto its network in the future. The carrier announced through its Twitter feed that the smartphone will work on Verizon's 4G LTE network "later this summer," but did not give a specific date nor how much it will cost. AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint currently offers the smartphone, which has garnered close to 5 million in sales.
