Toshiba adds Qosmio PX30t with Haswell to UK lineup
Toshiba has rolled out its first Qosmio-branded all-in-one, designed to be a capable multimedia and gaming machine. The Qosmio PX30t (pdf) is powered by a choice of Intel third- and fourth-generation Core-series processors that also support Ultra HD out capabilities in the fourth-gen Core i7 quad-core variant. The 23-inch all-in-one also sports a HDMI-in port, allowing for the connection of a console with support for audio through its built-in DTS Studio Sound-capable Harman/Kardon speakers.
The 23-inch 1080p display also supports 10-point multi-touch input with LED backlighting. Graphics options in the high-end variants include a discrete Nvidia GeForce GT 740M matched with 2GB of VRAM. Users can also opt for Blu-ray disc support with the ability to utilise Wi-Fi certified Miracast and Intel WiDi technology for remote streaming. Storage includes support for up to 3TB, while it can also handle up to 16GB of RAM in a two-slot configuration with 8GB in each.
The Qosmio PX30t is rolling out in the UK from the equivalent of around $1200 (£799) from next month, with other markets to follow.
