Large screen on display, S-Pen stylus absent from photographs
Photographs of what is claimed to be the Samsung Galaxy Note III have appeared online. The latest image appears to show a smartphone with a large screen, possibly confirming the 5.99-inch display claimed in previous rumors, and seems to be a similar device to one in other photographs leaked over the weekend.
The new image on G for Games shows the large handset sat between an older Nokia phone and an unnamed device that is also identified as from Samsung. When compared with images from TechTastic and SamMobile, it is possible that the mobile phone in question is a prototype version or hidden inside a decoy shell. There is also no appearance of the Note's signature peripheral, the S-Pen, and while this could be a sign that it is not in fact one of the Note series, none of the images show the sides or the end of the phone to confirm or deny the existence of stylus storage.
The Note III is rumored to have a 1080p Super AMOLED display, run either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 or a 4+4 Exynos 5 Octa processor, and a 13-megapixel camera. It is suggested that Samsung will announce the Galaxy Note III at the IFA 2013 show later this year.
