HTC One mini name, 720p resolution, Android 4.2 confirmed

HTC has mistakenly confirmed that it is creating the HTC One mini, after leaking the name through one of its own websites. A User Agent profile published on a HTC-owned domain provides the device's name, as well as revealing it will have a 1280x720-resolution display and will use Android 4.2, but does not seem to show much else about the phone.

The model number of the HTC One mini is shown to be PO581, according to The Next Web, with the original HTC One bearing the number PN071. While the page of code does show it as having connectivity over GPRS and 3G connections, it does not immediately appear to have LTE, though this could change by the time it is launched by the company.

Earlier rumors suggest that the HTC One mini will have a 4.3-inch display instead of the 4.7 of its predecessor, a dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a four-megapixel rear camera that retains the UltraPixel technology of the full-sized version.
